1HP (1 horsepower) is the power of the chiller. It essentially represents how quickly it can chill the water to the desired temperature.
Here's two things to consider:
1. In Australia we have hot summers, anything less than 1HP will struggle to cool water down in the heat, or if it does, it'll take much longer.
2. The longer you have to run the chiller for, the more wear and tear on the motor. A lower power chiller will burn out much quicker than a more powerful chiller.

The initial cooling period can take approx. 2-4 hours depending on the temp of the water, room temp and set up location.
Once the water has reached the desired temp it will generally only take an hour or so of running the chiller daily to keep the water cool.
Note that the chiller needs to be run regularly to keep the water clean and fresh.

The chiller can bring water down to as low as 3°C, with the unit adjustable up to around 40°C. You set and monitor the temperature via the Wi-Fi app rather than adding ice.
How long does it take to cool the water initially?
The first cooling cycle typically takes around 2–4 hours, depending on the starting water temperature, room temperature and where it's set up. Once it reaches your target temperature, running the chiller for about an hour a day is usually enough to keep it there.
How is the water kept clean without constantly changing it?
