How To Use
Thirty seconds before bed.
That's the whole routine. Strips open the nose, tape keeps it nasal — here's how to get a full night's grip out of both.
Nasal strips
One strip per night, across the bridge of your nose.
-
1Clean and dry your nose.
Wash off oils, moisturiser or sunscreen and pat completely dry — adhesive grips skin, not skincare.
Tip: do this after your shower, not before. -
2Peel off the backing.
Hold the strip by its ends and remove the liner without touching the adhesive more than you need to.
-
3Place it low across the bridge.
Position the strip just above the flare of your nostrils — where the soft part of your nose begins — not up on the bony bridge.
Tip: too high does nothing. If you can wiggle your nostrils and feel the strip pull, it's in the right spot. -
4Press for ten seconds.
Press firmly along the whole strip so the adhesive bonds with skin warmth. You should feel your nostrils gently lift open — breathe in through your nose and notice the difference.
-
5Remove gently in the morning.
Peel slowly from one end, ideally with warm water or in the shower. Never rip it off dry.
Mouth tape
One tape per night, gently over closed lips.
-
1Test your nose first.
Close your mouth and take ten easy breaths through your nose. If that feels comfortable, you're ready to tape. If your nose is blocked tonight, skip the tape — strips only.
-
2Dry lips, relaxed jaw.
Lips clean and balm-free, jaw resting naturally — you're sealing lips together, not clamping your mouth shut.
-
3Apply over closed lips.
Centre the tape over your lips and press gently. The hypoallergenic adhesive holds all night and peels off easily in the morning — beard and all.
Tip: new to taping? Wear it for 20 minutes watching TV before your first night. You'll forget it's there. -
4Sleep, then peel slowly.
Remove from one corner in the morning. Quieter nights and no dry mouth are the sign it's working.
Do
- ✓Use a fresh strip and tape every night — they're single-use
- ✓Apply to clean, dry, product-free skin
- ✓Give it 3–5 nights — nasal breathing is a habit your body relearns
- ✓Use strips for training too — they're sweat-proof
- ✓Remove gently with warm water
Don't
- ✗Tape with a blocked nose, after drinking, or if you have a diagnosed breathing condition — ask your GP if unsure
- ✗Apply over moisturiser, sunscreen or lip balm
- ✗Place the strip high on the bony part of your nose
- ✗Rip either off dry in the morning
- ✗Reuse strips or tape — the adhesive is spent after one night
